EMPOWERED: “The Women of Sports” – MediaForward.tv is producing a made-for-TV documentary series being touted as the “Greatest Story Never Told.” The documentary and subsequent television series will tell the story of a special group of innovators in sports.
- The women who fought the gender-equity battle and worked behind the scenes in a male-dominated industry
- They rose above the “Men’s Only” club to become highly respected journalists, TV producers and coaches – along with many others who became the very best in their respective fields
- The series coincides with the 40th anniversary of Title IX and it will tell the stories of the women who lived the dream and can now tell their stories proudly
CELEBRATING the LEGENDS: Celebrating the Legends is a joint venture between MediaForward.tv and Oscar Robertson Media Ventures, a multimedia and live event production company headed by arguably the greatest all-around basketball player of all time.
The basic programming concept is simple:
- Produce a live event that introduces fans to sports legends whose appeal transcends generations
- Showcase the event via broadcast and online programming capturing the legends interacting with each other and sharing their stories with the viewer
- Offer the audience an opportunity to interact, submit questions and participate through integrated multimedia platforms, especially via social media
- Think of “Celebrating the Legends” as “Inside the Actors Studio” meets “The Sports Reporters” meets a “Town Hall Meeting”
GIBSON PURE PLATINUM: “The Road to the Les Paul Showcase”
Working with Gibson Guitars, MediaForward.tv is creating an interactive entertainment destination that will combine popular music, reality TV and major American sporting events, like the BCS College Football Championship and the NCAA Basketball Tournament and its “Final Four.”
- There will be two levels of participation, including an “open division” and competitions between Colleges & Universities throughout the USA.
- The competitions can match bands by city, state or region, and be staged at the Gibson Guitar Studios, such as the “Hit Factory” in New York City or at iconic local music clubs.
- The winners of local competitions will advance to bracketed national tournament to be staged in conjunction with the BCS championship series and the NCAA’s “March Madness.”
KING of CHROME:
MediaForward.tv Co-Founder Terry Lyons is the Consulting Producer to create a television series featuring the best motorcycle master craftsmen in the world who will build themed-based motorcycles displaying a variety of ideas, including the integration of relevant and iconic brands.
- The 13-episode series will bring a unique direct-marketing and multimedia opportunity to brands seeking exposure through an alternative to traditional advertising
- The television series will be supported with a line of merchandising and a nationwide tour of the finished motorcycles being displayed to hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts and large gatherings in the major markets throughout the United States
- Show producers are currently in negotiations with interested brands for participation in the series that will shoot in the spring/summer of 2012

Media Forward collaborates with CineSport, an innovative web video syndication company that offers sports highlights on-line and on-demand. CineSport provides easy to watch video packages to online publishers who know where and when sports fans want to see them.

THIRD ROCK: MediaForward.tv, through its collaboration with DigitalSportsDesk, provides the “DigitalSportsDesk Minute” to RFC Media of Houston, Texas for use in its streaming radio production for THIRD ROCK, an online radio station produced exclusively for NASA and available at www.NASA.gov
- MediaForward.tv provides consulting services for RFC Media to assist in promotion of emerging artists and to help RFC continue its industry-leading position as the very best in the planning, production and 24/7 programming of branded streaming media
